well, that marks about the first victory for the french since…well…yeah. go the french!
pardon my tonight show-esque one-liner, but i just couldn’t resist. and don’t think i am bias against the french. my father is french…kind of.

My mom’s parents are French Canadian. Does that give me cause to be offended by your mockary of France? By the way, I like the caption under that image on the BBC page: it makes it seem like that girl is screaming “the job battle continues” at the cameraperson–in French, of course (”le battle de le jobe continue! viva la girl!)

yeah, but judging by the look on that girl’s face, she probably took off her clothes and made sweet love to the cameraman right after that picture was taken. i would count that as a win for the french. americans are so prude.

sam - it does not give you cause to be offended; french canadians are a bit more hardcore than french because of revolutionary war ties.
